Forget Bluetooth ... make way for Greentooth

With training fighting for its share of the budget, now is the time to find a ‘hands free’ solution for your next training conference. To deliver a smooth and successful seminar, more and more companies are choosing to outsource their training manuals and resource materials, rather than pull their hair out with trying to do it in-house.
Not many confident speakers experience ‘butterflies in the tummy’ syndrome before a conference, but many trainers pull their hair out, staple or glue their fingers together, run out of printer ink the night before a seminar or trip into a muddy puddle trying to balance a stack of manuals in the venue car park.
Trainers feel the gaze of their organisation and those of their guests as all eyes turn on them. By cultivating a corporate brand with greener print products, the once stressed trainers are now delivering excellence and enjoying a hassle free conference.
With digital printing reducing the environmental impact, many companies are seeking to harvest an ‘ultimate guest experience’. Add to this a personal service of delivering the printed products to the venue with the manuals, name badges, note pads and tent cards all prepared and ready for guests before the start of the conference and we have a ‘Greentooth’ approach.
Chris Holloway, Managing Director of Manor Printing Services, attends regular conferences and has spotted a solution for company trainers and motivational speakers. As well as a one-stop simple service for all resource materials, he guarantees delivery and the personal service of preparing the materials at the venue for easy guest registration.
High profile clients such as ICCM and Barristers, 5 Essex Court find this personal green touch to be a huge benefit to their busy training needs. Laura Springer, Training Manager from ICCM, said: “The best thing for me is the quick turnaround Manor Printing gives us. I email the documents over and have complete peace of mind knowing that they will be delivered to the conference on time.”
Holloway’s ‘hands free - green fingers’ approach also encompasses a full environmental programme where the company invests in on-going training to ensure that all staff are familiar with waste disposal processes, procedures and legislation and are aware of the environmental significance of what they do. They extend their green tendrils further by improving environmental awareness to customers with advice, guidance and practical ‘green finger’ assistance.
‘Practicing what we preach’ is an important step in encouraging environmental good practice and many printers fail to operate their own strict Environmental Management System. Along with a commitment for continuous environmental quality standards, printers need to encourage transparency by inviting customers to visit our printing house to inspect disposal procedures.
Holloway said: “All staff have a role to play in helping Manor Printing Services work towards achieving this policy. We advise customers on selecting eco friendly stock and to minimise paper requirements, which minimise indirect environmental impacts of customer products. We really do practise what we preach!”

Notes to the editor:
Manor Printing Services is an ethically-motivated Lithographic and Digital Printing Company pledged to play a practical role in protecting the environment for future generations.
They accept that waste is an inevitable by-product from industry but they believe that proper disposal within the confines of our ‘enclosed’ planet is a major factor in determining the quality and sustainability of our environment.
In this way they hope to help the environmental cause by reducing the amount of waste going to landfill or for incineration, conserving finite resources and promoting environmentally-friendly waste disposal.
