Each of the 10 luxury rooms have been individually styled by Oulsnam Design of Bakewell, with no two rooms being exactly the same.
Guests have now stayed in the rooms for the first time, with the feedback received so far being extremely positive. Paul Downing, director at The Maynard, explains:
“One of our first guests turned out to be an AA inspector. She was quite impressed with The Maynard and as a result of her visit we were awarded our 2nd AA rosette and received a high overall score that will be reflected in our AA Guide entry. We have also hosted a couple of weddings already and the new rooms are now starting to fill up nicely, with enquiries from all over the country. Generally people have been wowed by the rooms, which is very reassuring having invested so much in them!
