.Kutchenhaus Kitchens, the German kitchen experts, have opened brand new store at St Andrews Quay Retail Park in Hull. Kutchenhaus are owned by Nobilia International, the largest kitchen manufacturer in the world, and the new store is the largest kitchen retail outlet in the city, displaying over 35 superb quality German rigid kitchens, at unbelievable prices.
The opportunity to be part of such a successful company has already created lots of interest from potential employees. There will be 20 staff members working at Kutchenhaus and the recruitment drive is currently underway. Kutchenhaus Kitchens are keen to recruit local people, with local knowledge.
Norman Parker Kutchenhaus Managing Director said: “We are very pleased to be opening our new Kutchenhaus store in Hull and to be able to offer career opportunities in the area. Hull stands out to us as an obvious location for a Kutchenhaus store. It’s a great city that is sometimes overlooked by other retailers, forcing residents to travel further than they should have to, to get the best deals. We believe the St Andrews Key location to be perfect with its ease of access and parking”.
“We like to locate in large retail stores with an area of 10,000 sq ft or more. This enables us to display each individual kitchen as a proper room set, rather than trying to cram too many displays into a small space, thus suffering from the inevitable compromises. Invariably, wherever we open a Kutchenhaus showroom, it will be the largest and dare we say the best kitchen outlet in that particular region.”
The Kutchenhaus store philosophy is to inspire our customers with complete lifestyle room set displays that feature all the aspirational touches that people like to see in their own homes. But most importantly to demonstrate that such high levels of quality and engineering can be affordable to all.
Kutchenhaus offer around 90 different kitchen door styles, from ultra contemporary kitchens right through to traditional kitchens. Kutchenhaus appliance partners include such household brands as Neff, Hotpoint, CDA, Indesit and Franke to name but a few.
Where Kutchenhaus fitted kitchens differ from other manufacturers, is in their sheer capacity and ability to deliver a superb quality rigid product, at a price never before seen in the UK. Recent comparisons show that Kutchenhaus kitchens are typically half the price of those found for sale in the independent retailers. Kutchenhaus kitchen units are rigid kitchen units of the highest quality - not flatpack
Norman Parker continues: “When you walk into one of our showrooms customers would be forgiven for thinking the store is superb, but way over their budget. It is however, an absolute pleasure to watch people’s reactions when they realise that it isn’t over budget. Average Kutchenhaus kitchens retails at around £6,000 - £8,000 including appliances.
“As soon as our customers walk through our doors we want them to enjoy their shopping experience and be amazed at the quality of the product and most importantly, the price.”
Kutchenhaus also have stores in Manchester, York and Chester as well as Glasgow. Despite the current economic climate, Kutchenhaus kitchens continue to open more stores ahead of schedule due to their on-going success. Their seven year plan is to open a minimum of five new stores per annum across the UK, which upon completion will give Kutchenhaus national coverage.
