Newbury, UK – 9th February 2009, Centrix Software today announced the appointment of Jane Rimmer and Mark Stradling as non-executive directors with immediate effect. Jane and Mark bring a wealth of management and industry experience to Centrix Software both having held senior roles at two of the industry’s largest virtualization companies, Citrix Systems and VMware. Jane and Mark join Centrix Software’s management team in an advisory role as the company scales for growth, broadening its sales capabilities and routes to market.
The appointments follow the launch of Centrix Software in November 2008 and the commercial release of Centrix WorkSpace, an application aggregation and publishing platform for enterprise computing environments. WorkSpace is being used by organizations to enhance the way IT services and applications are managed and presented to technology consumers. Centrix WorkSpace removes the complexity of managing and publishing services from different technology systems and makes IT services more consumable for the end-user.

About
WorkSpace
Centrix WorkSpace provides an abstract layer between an organization’s data centre and user environment, aggregating all end-user applications, resources and services delivered, regardless of the underlying technology (virtualized, legacy or Web) and operating system. WorkSpace presents these applications and services as consumables to the user through a rich and thin browser-based environment that has the look and feel more typical of a consumer computing and Web experience. The result is a user-centric IT environment that is easy to use, personalized and more desirable for the user and one that is secure, manageable and provides optimum service delivery for the IT organization.
With WorkSpace, organizations can accelerate the adoption rate of new services provided by IT, and enhance user satisfaction and productivity. WorkSpace is a non-intrusive solution deployed within an organization’s firewall. It adheres to existing governance, security and compliance frameworks, ensuring protection and control is maintained across the user environment.
